Alemea and SAP have chosen The Artoni logistics centre in Codogno (Lodi) for the "ARTONI OPEN DAYS 2011" workshop.
High-profile international groups spent the day discussing the need to review logistics processes by using SAP platform in order to gain more competitive edge in the market.
Several issues regarding the SAP project in Artoni were discussed during the workshop, with particular emphasis on SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and SAP Solution Manager and Business Intelligence solutions, which Alemea developed for Artoni.
The guided tour around the Artoni logistics centre, which has a capacity of 30,200 pallets, of which 13,200 are stored in automated warehouse, provided an insight into the latest generation solutions (pick by light and integration with automated warehouse) designed by Alemea in collaboration with SAP research labs.
